Studying music should be enjoyable, fun and rewarding.
Piano study can become a skill that can last a lifetime, but
it takes commitment from the teacher and student (and
parents for pre-college age students). This commitment is
necessary for the success of the student. My studio goal
is to provide an atmosphere for musical as well as
emotional and intellectual stimulation. To reach this goal I
will take the necessary steps to teach basic skills of piano
and musicianship. My goal is to motivate, educate and
encourage my students to reach their individual potential.
I teach a relaxed approach to the piano, along with
principles of musical performance and technique with the
goal of making the student an independent musician who
will eventually no longer need a teacher!
